Lol I have never posted that. Unlike you, I actually know how the salary cap works.

Didn’t you suggest a while back the Clippers trade Tobias straight up for Giannis? roffle

Like I said

Trade him now. There’s not going to be a big market next year

And they only got Duncan because their other generational big guy had a freak injury that kept him out an entire season, allowing them to draft Duncan.

The Spurs drafted well with Parker and Ginobili, but Duncan was a massive stroke of pure luck.

You know how people talk about white privilege and how blacks and other minorities have to work twice as hard and be twice as good to get as far in life. Well, that's the NBA in a nutshell. Teams in less than desirable locations have to be twice as good to be as successful as the big market teams in attractive destinations. The Pelicans aren't any better or worse run than the Lakers. But the Lakers are the #1 sports team in LA with dozens of Hollywood celebrities going to every home game. A NBA team in New Orleans can't just be okay. Their front office have to be really, really good and even that's not enough. The Jazz are a really well run franchise and they haven't come close to sniffing a title in the last 20 years. Same with the Portland Trail Blazers. And it's the same story for New Orleans.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, who broke the news of Davis’ trade demand, went on “SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt” on Monday night and revealed that Klay Thompson, who will be a free agent this summer, reportedly would have interest in going to LA if they acquire Davis.

“The best-case scenario for the Lakers is: they add Anthony Davis and then Golden State doesn’t offer Klay Thompson a max contract,” Wojnarowski said. “They try to get Klay to take a little bit less than the max and if that happens I’m told Klay’s attention will be on the Lakers if they have Anthony Davis.”

Now, there are a couple of big ifs there.

That's why I posted a few pages back that Davis has the ultimate leverage. If he goes this route, teams like Boston and NY aren't getting in a bidding war to mortgage their future for one year of AD.

we will see. i think the paul george situation makes teams more willing to at least entertain the idea. hell, arent some people starting to think that kawhi is going to tell the clips to go frick themselves and sign long term with toronto?

1. Throw the farm without adding picks.
2. Miss playoffs or get bounced out the first round.
3. Sign Kemba or Kyrie.
4. LAL is your new 2020 NBA Champs.
5. AD wins finals MVP.
6. The crowd goes wild.
7. Every other NBA fan is mad AF.
8. AD is a legend and gets his number retired.

You aren't gonna get AD without picks. It's going to take multiple firsts plus a couple future pick swaps IMO.

Does that mean he's willing to get rid of Kyrie in the trade and get Davis before the end of the season?
