The WNBA suspended Los Angeles Sparks guard Riquna Williams for 10 games as a result of a domestic violence incident involving her ex-girlfriend in December.
In April, Williams was arrested on felony charges of burglary with assault or battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, stemming from the December incident.

If a WNBA player is suspended for 10 games and no one is around to see it, did it actually happen?

ETA: How many games does the WNBA have? When does the season start? When does it end? I’m a consistent poster on a sports forum and have no clue. That should say something

She smashed her car with a skateboard, forced her way into the house, beat the shite out of her with her fists for 10 minutes, and after it was broken up by two good samaratans, she goes to her car and gets a gun and threatens to shoot one of them before getting in her car and driving off.

If it was a man in the NFL who did that, what would his suspension be and how many feminists would be losing their shite over it?

What is the difference between aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill and attempted murder?

Damn the WNBA basically lets you play once you’re out of prison.

10 games without pay? Ouch, that $1500 could have bought a lot of double sided dildos.

Varies by state, but "with" could simply mean "while possessing".

In some states you don't even have to touch someone to commit assault. You just have to cause reasonable fear of bodily harm.

I believe the thought was they didn't want to "oversaturate" the market.
