Kevin Harlan could call play by play at the 2pm shift at the DMV and make it interesting. He is a very gifted announcer.

I wouldn't say "I can't stand him", but yes, his diction and tone can be annoying. To me, he can sometimes be a poor man's Joe Tessitore in terms of over-hype.

Interesting take because I can't stand Joe Tessitore. I can still hear him barking out R-G-3 during Thurs-Fri night CFB games a decade ago.

Harlan is terrific. On the other hand, Tessitore is terrible.
