Didn’t know AP was still in the league. With his knees kneeling will probably be a necessity.

Create a new anthem for players to kneel during. Run it after the national anthem. Get Trent Reznor to create it.

Personally I would prefer not to see anyone kneel, but am fully expecting the NFL to keep doing the anthem the same way they have, and have the majority of players kneeling.

It's the clear and right solution. I just dread the drama that will flood this board and media. The NFL will probably take a short term hit in terms of viewers, but it's not going to make a dent. They'll handle it much better this go around.

This is a fun guessing game, and I agree with you. I don't think that the NFL can deny the players chance to kneel en masse during the US National Anthem. To do so would invite controversy.
I think that the NFL is stuck now with going SJW and allowing the players to take a knee with the NFL's approval. Of course it will alienate some fans, but, the NFL's thinking on this is that it will alienate YOUNGER fans if the NFL continues to fight the players on this issue.
The players want to kneel en masse, during the National Anthem on television. The players NEED this "street cred" they'd get by doing this and it's an easy and free way for them to get that street cred.
So, I'm confident that we'll see kneeling en masse.

My guess is that the NFL's view is that they can make up that 10 percent loss of old fans by winning over new fans from the younger demographic.
