Accounted for more than 500 yards, while t-hill had less than 100

Hermano the argument was having a consistent arm which I think I proved Tannehill has

Jackson throws balls worse than Billy Kilmer did years ago. He's not much on throwing tight spirals, that's for sure.

Using stats without context is worthless, hoss. Lamar Jackson - 83 plays; majority of his yards were in garbage time. Tannehill threw only 14 times and ran 6 times for a total of 101 yards....against a non-prevent defense. Lamar got stats because the Titans gave him yards.

So are we using regular season or not? Cause the whole argument was to ignore Lamar's regular season.
In the playoffs Tannehill is completing 50% of his passes and averaging 80 yards passing a game and they're going to the AFCCG.
Sounds like the Pats and Ravens fricking suck, no?

The difference is that tannehill does what the Titans need him to do.
Lamar Jackson did not.
Lamar Jackson did not.

Come postseason, if you don’t have a QB with a consistent arm, you will lose.
If that’s the case. Explain Drew Brees sorry arse playoff performances over the years. The Titans had a plan and executed it masterfully. Can we please give them some credit. I don’t remember people shitting all over Brady last week when they sent him home fishing as well. For some reason people couldn’t wait to shite on Lamar though.

Because it doesn’t fit their narrative. A lot of people don’t want him to be successful because they’re sick of hearing how he’s revolutionizing the game. People thought the same about RG3 and Kaepernick. Not so much Cam because he was running a mostly pro style offense. Admittedly, I wanted to see him struggle too to turn down the hype a little bit I’m surprised at the overreaction by this board.
The thing is...Kaep never threw for more than 20 TDs in a single season. He never rushed for more than 600 yards either. Lamar had a historic year, something Kaep or RG3 never had. RG3’s best year was his rookie year. So let’s give Lamar another year or two before we denounce him as the next RG3 but let’s also wait on saying he’s changing the game. Anyone...ANYONE can get schemed, even Peyton and Brady have had duds in the playoffs. This loss doesn’t take away from a great year he had. But even Cam had one great year. If Lamar does this same thing next year...or even comes close to it...I think he’ll have earned a lot of people’s respect

He really was just an awful passer.

Why does football make us all so stupid? The MVP of the league literally has ONE bad game and people have to go crazy. Imagine looking at a sample size of one for anything else in life and overreacting like this.

To be fair, he was at a party where his UofL teammates got shot in college. He doesn't exactly keep the best of company at all times.
That said, he rolled the whole season with his "gimmick". Does he have weaknesses? Sure. But it's far too early for everybody to sign him off as a good QB in the league on a bad playoff game.

Some people here object to the media’s opinion of Lamar Jackson, so their response is to hate Lamar Jackson himself. It’s absolutely bizarre.

One loss and people start dropping the hard R on Twitter. Our society loves to overreact.

What? He threw the ball great last night. The problem was they forgot they win via the run game. Titans got 2 scores pretty quick and JH tightened up and forgot to run. I agree that LJ needs to get better in the pocket and the Ravens need some kind of outside threat but this isn’t “gimmicky”. This is a team that finally tailored their offense to a phenom at QB. You know , the opposite of what JF did with VY. I’m not comparing these 2 QBs either. No comparison. LJ is the real deal. Like 7 drops also last night. This game is not on LJ it any gimmick being figured out.

Then you either weren’t here or you’re being dishonest. There were “Brady is done” threads littered throughout the first several pages of this board.

I’d love to hear your opinion as to why

Lamar seems like a good dude all around, but he f'ed up big time last night. Yeah, there were drops, but he held the ball too long, threw some shitty passes and that 4th down run was downright stupid.
He was exposed like Cammy during his so-called MVP season.

it’s a gimmick
First read isn’t there he runs. Titans had guys leave their assignment once he started running
