To be fair, Aaron Boone has been a little bitch the last few seasons.

He should be suspended and then made fun of publicly by MLB for concocting the lie. Honestly, I think you should be treated more harshly for the subsequent public lying (especially where it falsely implicates other people) than for the original incident (cough, Myles Garrett, cough). But alas, nobody ever is.

I’d imagine spending a few months in places like Stockton, Peoria, Allentown and Trenton, NJ would be a humbling experience and effective performance enhancing program for these clowns who think they’re the stars of the show

I completely agree with you if he’s proven to be lying. As noted in my original post I think it’s BS if it went down like Boone said. I just figured people needed to hear what the ump said. After I posted that, I found the complete story of everything he said and it was fairly obvious that he was in CYA mode.

Take away umpires ability to eject people. Have MLB issue fines after the game. But they can’t kick out anyone. We will see if they want to keep their egos after that.
