Im in a office AAF fantasy football league.

Im really excited to see how this goes because there is a ton of recognizable names to even the average college football fan.

Birmingham Iron have the best roster, IMO.

A lot of former SEC players.

I’m feeling good about my fantasy team so far. There is no time clock on the fantasy draft so it’s going to take all day. 6 teams.

So far I have

QB:Trevor Knight, Arizona...Texas A&M
RB:Zac Stacy, Memphis......Vanderbilt
RB:Tarean Folston, Atlanta..Notre Dame
WR:Jalin Marshall, Orlando...Ohio State
WR:Dontez Ford, San Diego...Pittsburgh
FLEX:Aaron Green, San Antonio...TCU

I'll check out the Atlanta/Orlando game because of Spurrier. Might even go if it's not raining.

If there is something going on at the Liberty Bowl, I go to it.

So I will be at our first home game next week.

Toby Weathersby
Greg Gilmore
Freak Johnson
Sam Montgomery

For those of you in markets with an AAF team... what's the press been like. Is it talked about nightly on the local news? Beat reporters for the local paper?

I would like to, but with no local team to follow I don't think I'll be following closely.

Yeah, no team anywhere near me.

Avoiding the northern states during winter apparently.

If you were a fan in say... Chicago, would you be all fired up to go sit in the cold to watch a brand new team full of players who weren't good enough to make NFL rosters?
