Lol Raiders

Even when Denver gives a washed QB $245m the raiders continue to be the laughing stock of the division

Their best 1st round picks historically have been kickers.

Ray Guy - 1973 #23 Overall - Hall of Famer - 14 years all with the Raiders. Six Pro Bowls.

Sebastian Janikowski - 2000 #17 Overall. Played longer than any other year 2000 1st round draft pick. (17 years with the Raiders - 1 with Seattle) One Pro Bowl.

Didn’t he win the Outland?

I remember he was close to a freak athletically and really good early and then by his last year Alabama fans were very iffy about him.

Holy hell. The Khalil Mack trade was a golden opportunity to reboot the franchise and they couldn't have blown it worse.

Whatever happened to Arnette? I knew he was a reach at the time but I didn’t expect him out of the league in two years type of reach

Yeah Jacobs is a top 5ish back.

Ruggs was well on his way to being great too.

If that never happens with Ruggs and Gruden never gets taken out by Goodell they probably could make the conference championship but not super bowl.

What they should have done is what Philly is doing: push picks into the future and not overload all in one try.

2019: Ferrill: amazes me he actually sucks because dude had the tools to be elite.
- Could have taken: Devin White, Josh Allen, Brian Burns
2019: Jacobs: still worthy of the pick IMHO.
2019: Abrams: I could have told you he was a bust, dude is a nutcase
- Could have taken done the trade Seattle did for Frank Clark.
- Also could have restarted at WR with Deebo Samuel

2020: Ruggs: never understood the infatuation for him even in college he wasn't great.
- Tristan Wirfs to actually block for Carr and Jacobs
- CeeDee was a better prospect
- Jeudy was better of the two, more complete receiver

2020: Arnette: truly thought he was gonna be good
- Other option was justin jefferson if they didn't go wtih Ruggs first

2021: Leatherwood: Can we finally say that bama OL suck? Because majority of them do.
- Darrisaw instead, he has been elite this year. 0 penalties, 0 sacks allowed. >500 snaps

Ruggs was a burner. He just couldn’t finish drives.

He’s a lunatic. Threatened someone with a gun.

Among other transgressions.

I love that you say this like they’re all bums

There are top 5 NFL players at 4 or 5 of the 12 positions on offense and defense in the NFL

Derrick Henry
Pat Surtain
Minkah Fitzpatrick
Quinnen Williams

^not arguable

Tua, Hurts, Waddle, Cooper, Dickerson, Diggs, Jackson, Jackson, Mosley, Smith, Kelley…list of really good players is a mile long. List of NFL starters is two miles long.
