Agreed, 06 is a close competitor but I loved the Fitzgerald combo disc with Top spin on the OG Xbox.
NCAA 14 gets grossly overrated just because it was the last one. Remember it feeling like a reskin when it came out and they totally nuked recruiting to completely dumb it down.
Ideally you’ll be able to scale the complexity of the recruiting. Think they said “up to” those amount of metrics/areas, would think you could scale that down or allow the cpu to handle it
That being said I still play ncaa 14 and will nerd out on this

I thought 14 was too easy gameplay wise. I had to purposely avoid four verts vs CPU. You could tell they wanted it to be flashy because it was the last one. It was fun to play to their credit.

I’d imagine it’s like The Show where you can choose to automate a good portion of the recruiting/staff etc if you just want to play the games.

I used to create as trash a team as possible and put them in a nothing recruiting state like Vermont and try to build from there
