Don’t know but the screen might say they’re a 75 but they’re really a 93 on the field

Of course that works the other way too

Manziel had an alright freshman year too.

But for true freshmen:

Marcus Lattimore
RG3
Philip Rivers
Mike Hart
Myles Jack
Mike Williams
Larry Fitzgerald
Jadeveon Clowney
Orlando Pace

Those are just some names.

For sure, but it’s pretty rare and the numbers should reflect that. In NCAA14, nearly every 4 star and above was already an above average to elite player on day 1.

Yeah and after some point so much of roster would be 95+. I know some people did but it was too much to go in and edit everyone’s overall to be more realistic

They did introduce the bust concept (like a 75ovr actually being a 68) in 14 but it only happened to a handful of players

I named 6. The other guy above me named 8. I’d be curious to know how many true freshmen All Americans there have been in the last 20-30 years. I bet it’s a ton.

You’re a legit moron if you think there aren’t true freshmen who rank among the best players in the country damn near every year

"dominate" is a bit subjective. there are true freshman who are impact big time players on good teams every year.

Derek Stingley Jr was a very, very good true CB as a true freshman. Will Campbell at tackle too.

I agree with the point that the recruiting system in previous versions of the game produced way too many elite freshmen though.

eta: and usually the elite freshmen have a few not so great games or a few games where they get limited to no playing time in.

I would’ve absolutely loved that 20 years ago.

That looks like too much work.

Can we get a simplified down version of dynasty mode where I can just dabble w recruiting (maybe land an a GOAT transfer portal QB) and sit back and enjoy?

I'm thinking something along the lines of Coach O's NCAA Football Blitz.

I understand it happens.

I was originally responding to a post that said multiple do it every year.
