Kirk was actually the one who kept bringing up the possibility of Bama being left out

If they’re in on the merits of a UGA win 2+ months ago, then it should matter that their win just got shite on in an aggressive manner

Don’t know if it’ll be enough but it’s not a slam dunk like I thought it would be

Lol ESPN just said that Alabama's win at Georgia is even stronger now because they beat the SEC Champs

That's 3D chess

ESPN doesn’t even try to mask their bias. It’s pathetic how hard they lobby for these teams and put lipstick on pigs.

Damn. BYU has a better resume than Notre Dame according to the graphic they just put up.

Yeah, that was the alley oop for Fowler to cry about the depth in the SEC to list off all the big bad ranked teams they best like Vandy and Tennessee and not mention the 2 score loss to a 5-7 ACC scrub

The Georgia team that just drug their nuts all over Alabama and then took a dump on them? That Georgia?

Alabama doesn't deserve to even sniff the playoffs this year.

Bama won’t be let in. It cannot be justified, no way, no how. All they had to do was keep it within 10-14 points and the committee would have let them in. They don’t deserve it.

I agree that the argument against Bama is stronger than the argument for, but the issue I see is that they were in before the game. Eliminating them after the game disincentivizes the SEC championship.

Oh well. Then if the SEC wants to do away with it, go ahead. Or if you don’t want to risk losing it as a team, make sure you don’t make the game. It’s bullshite to say a 3 td arse whipping doesn’t matter or shouldn’t penalize a team.

That was already done in 2017 with Auburn
and 2011
Bama has had the benefit of the doubt enough times - it's their turn

Plus it can work toward getting these games removed

So if LSU were in Alabama’s position and had the same resume as Alabama, you don’t think LSU should be considered one of the 12 best teams in the country?

Actually do agree with you, teams like AM/Ole Miss/OU shouldn’t benefit from sitting at home. If bama gets knocked out, they will never schedule a decent OOC opponent and conference championship game will be in jeopardy.

Alabama and Miami should get the two last spots. Alabama has a better resume than both ND and Miami. ND and Miami have almost identical resumes, with the exception that Miami owns the head to head, so they should be in before ND.
