Why is the crowd so overwhelming in support for Tiafoe over the other American?

Tiafoe has been around a lot longer so the crowd knows him better. He likely is also perceived to have a better chance to advance to the final, though Alcaraz will beat either of these two regardless.

Going five. By the time they clear out Ashe, if Pegula/Navarro goes three sets, Shelton/Alcaraz may start at 11 pm local.

I think Ben has a decent shot. Ben pretty much can’t beat Sinner, but Alcaraz isn’t quite as consistent as Sinner. I feel like Carlos could be due for a fitness or wrist issue in a tough match.

That was amazing. Gutted for Michelsen, but it makes for a better semi with Foe in there.

Man Big T gave Michelson a long hug there. That was gut wrenching.

Is it me or is the Navarro stuff weird as hell. First you hear she has hypothyroidism. Then They literally skirt the issue that it was mental health. Meanwhile Woz and Blake are fawning over how open she is about everything when literally nothing has been said. Sounds like she got depressed and ate her feelings.

Yeah, they did a weird segment on her the other day. They didn't say anything about the thyroid. She said something about how even though she did well two years ago, she "wasn't healthy." I wonder if she took lithium, gained weight from it, and is now figuring out how to handle it.

Thyroid condition. It’s why she took a break from tennis earlier this year.
