Well now they don’t have to leave to do so…
I think everyone understands we’re at a disadvantage. but they also understand we don’t have to beat Curtis and Karr (in football) or any of the top 5 (in baseball) to get where we want to go lol.
I know Trist is basically an extension of Chalmette Reign… Able Meyer will fit right in with the Catholic League but the biggest difference I saw was with the bats and the way HC and Rummel handled them this year. Rummel had 10 hits tonight and 2 HRs including a grand slam. I wasn’t at the Curtis game when they shut us out. Give us one more bat and we probably win the Northshore district this year.

LHSAA and Geaux Preps power points are the same for every team except Catholic.
Really hoping Catholic is the 1 seed so we don't have the chance of playing them in Baton Rouge. Much rather the opportunity to face them in Sulphur. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
Maybe Coach hasn't updated his out of state opponents records on the site.

ASH beat Parkway and Acadiana loses which allowed us to jump from 10 to 8, Home series against Shreve it looks like.

The metro area is really good in the 5th-7th grades, too (11U-14U for travel ball). And alot of those kids are playing a school schedule already at Christian Brothers, Curtis, Holy Cross, and some of the grammar schools.

i do not
we dont play them much. they dont leave Nola area very much and tend to not play any tournaments with much competition.

i was going to ask why but just looked it up. I know Chalmette has nice facilities is why i was going to ask. I keep up with Chalmette as my wife is from there originally & has family still in the area.

If I am reading this right 6 of the 8 teams from district 3-5A will be hosting playoff series after Cedar Creek knocked off Airline last night and Southside jumped them into the 16 spot. If so that is ridiculously impressive for a single district. I see NISH and Carencro should also get in...some teams in that district that can make some noise outside of Barbe and Sam Houston. Lafayette, Southside, and Sulphur all have enough to get hot and push some teams and possibly steal a series or two.

I dont know if it will change anything for anyone that matters, but the Sacred Heart of VP v. Livonia game didnt finish until after the power rankings were last updated at 9:44pm. The game started over an hour late due to a delay waiting for a second umpire to show up. SHS won the game.
ETA: The seeding reports are out on the main baseball page. It has that game included.

When we say travel ball is a joke, it’s because if teams like this. They fish for rings rather than play elite competition
