Red Bull is in serious trouble right? Realistically could we see a double driver swap for them in the offseason? With Max leaving on his own and Yuki is currently showing that he cannot handle that car. Or do we think that with the new car in 26 that maybe the car will be drivable by someone other than Max

26 is such a wildcard, it doesn't seem prudent to make any assumptions about it until there are races under the belt.

Standings...
1 McLaren 417
2 Ferrari 210
3 Mercedes 209
4 Red Bull 162
5 Williams 55
6 RB 36
7 Haas 29
8 Aston Martin 28
9 Kick Sauber 26
10 Alpine 11
Big miss by Haas yesterday to seperaate themselves...RB was able to get good points from Lawson and Fernando showing a pulse. And Sauber...wow..
Midfield is the best this year...
And as bad as Ferrari has been and we crap on them, they are somehow in 2nd place

just posting to say the sticky threads being placed at the bottom of the page fuggin blows. this used to be a near daily thread read for me pending back to back race weeks, but i've missed some days due to the "out of sight, out of mind" effect.

I don’t understand why it can’t be allowed to rise to the top with posts and then have a first page anchor

Makes people scroll past the other threads and maybe give them a click.
TD wants you to click.

I like Leclerc, but I am starting to think he will mostly be an also-ran for his career. Dude is mostly on the podium it seems like but his car can’t consistently compete with the top teams.

I think it's much more the car than LeClerc. His racecraft has improved a ton over the past several years but the car is letting him down (IMO).

For sure, he’s no Verstappen pulling and extra second out of the car and the car needs it compared to Red Bull for the last few years and McLaren now.

An elementary school kid could have designed that.
Looks OK.
I'd like to see some liveries worthy of the BMW art cars.

If that's art, call me Rembrandt

Summary of the Max to Merc article that sky sport italy decided to post at midnight for no reason: disclaimer: it’s sky sport italy. grab a kilo of salt whilst you read this - they claim that negotiations between Verstappen and Mercedes are concrete: Max has accepted Toto’s offer but part of the board at mercedes has not approved this decisive move - they also claim Max would take over George’s seat, not Kimi’s - George is currently negotiating a contract extension worth €35m with Mercedes - If this does happen, George would most likely go to Red Bull as a direct swap, or Aston Martin

I want to believe it, but it's Italian sources. I'll wait and hope for confirmation. I'm one of the few people that likes George, but I also like drama.

Just what we know on the surface, where would you choose to go?
Merc maybe makes sense as you would think the next formula sets up for them being an engine formula. But what does RBR have in their new partnership with Honda Intel and Ford know-how.
Max can have all the talent in the world and end up like Alonso leaving Renault and the stars never aligning again.

Seb leaving Red Bull even

Or Danny Ric leaving RB.
I see a trend here, lol

Ew. Gross.

I wonder if the pit wall at Merc is ready to handle the blunt assholeness of the Dutchmen as number 1 after dealing with the polite passiveness of Brit’s as number 1 over the last decade
