Ocon's out at Alpine after this season. I'd wager fat chance anyone else picks his toxic arse up.

It's time for Jack Doohan.
Watched his dad win 5 consecutive 500cc championships and look forward to watching his son racing in f1.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Alpine screw it up like they did with Piastri though.

Ocon is hot poo... As is Alpine this year.

Should boot him now and put a JR driver in the seat.

I'm sure I'm in the minority but I'd honestly take him over Gasly.

I think Gasly is more likable, but he just doesn't impress me as a driver. I know he won a race in a inferior car and should get praised for that but I mean he lucked into the win. Not taking away anything from him though.

I don't know what to make of Gasly. He bombed at Red Bull, he had good years in 2020/2021 when AlphaTauri had a decent car. AlphaTauri sucked in 2022, so he went to Alpine. Gasly and Ocon were fairly evenly matched last year in a decent car. This year the car sucked bad at first but is improving now, and Gasly's and Ocon's seasons are not that different. I don't have a clear impression of him. Although he pasted Yuki in 2021, with Yuki's speed and consistency this year, I feel like Yuki has clearly surpassed Gasly. But I don't think it's clear where they stand compared to all of the other drivers below the elite tier.

I think the main problem for them is they have 2 evenly matched drivers and one is a total a-hole and the other has proven he can be a team player and somewhat of a team leader (with Yuki). Also Gasley is more marketable imo.

Not sure who they have coming up but I think the personalities played a part.

When the driver skills are equal, get rid of the one that's a personality problem and not a team player.

good luck to them. we've seen how andretti has been treated. they'll think of excuse to keep the teams at 10, even if it is a manufacturer.

I dont think Hyundai is looking to come in with a new team. I think they are wanting to buy an existing team, which would be far easier than trying to enter as a new team.

What an odd decision. He's terrible in that car. Max afraid of real competition?

Going to be funny if Checo continues to screw up and Ferrari beats RB in constructors.
