Haas must be doing that. Tony said he wasn’t putting someone in the car with daddy’s money.

Sure Tony. I believe you.
Tony may talk a big game but he’s going to go with the money.

Especially when Almirola waits to make a decision on retirement and Smithfield leaves with him.

Harvick May reach 60 wins before this year is up at this pace. Definitely reaches that number before he hangs it up

I posted this in 2020 when he was the best driver in the series...

Damn 60 on the dot. And it should've been more.

Dude should have 4 titles.

Big news today regarding the new broadcast agreement for NASCAR. See below for details:

The CW will be the exclusive broadcast partner of the Xfinity Series.

Why does NASCAR hate ratings?

Why? I love Prime, absolutely can't live without it aside from the TV aspect, think it's well worth the price although of course to each his or her own.

Hopefully Tony Stewarts series will be on during the Prime weeks. Will be watched and get better ratings. Otherwise its no biggie as plenty other stuff to do in summer for those 5 weeks

Like I said, to each his own. It’s just a delivery method, no more or less.

Some folks on another dedicated racing forum I post at were bitching about having to watch on their phones, tablets and computers. I pointed out I watch Prime on my big screen TV with a Roku.

I know providers are having trouble monetizing it right now because they’re so tied into the cable model but streaming is the way of the future both for TV and music because consumers will demand it and it’s up to providers to figure out a model where they can make money moving forward.

I still have a Comcast subscription because they’re the exclusive interne provider in my area unless I do something wacky like Starlink and they basically give me TV to take their Internet, and given that it’s impossible to function in a 21st century world sans Internet I take their Internet. But if I had another Internet option they’d be gone because I consider them the spawn of Satan.

And as far as Prime in general, I try to buy local when I can but when you need something specific, quickly, that you can’t find local, it’s wonderful to have it in your mailbox sometimes overnight.

For example I play guitar and we have a local music store that I try to patronize because they’re good folks, but they don’t have and have no plans to stock the Herco Gold 50 picks I use, but I can get them via Prime.

Plus my wife has a non prescription medication she takes that’s delivered to us every three weeks for $6 a bottle cheaper via Prime than you can get it even at Walmart here, when they have it in stock which is rarely. That alone makes up for a big chunk of the yearly dues and again the TV is just cake icing.

Good, fewer users means less chance the stream bugs out or crashes

Yep. Some weekends later on in the season will have Cup on Prime, TNT or NBC/USA, Xfinity on The CW and Trucks on FS1. All three series on a different network.

Can’t wait to hear who Prime gets as play by play. For 5 weeks it won’t be too good. Unless they are paying other network folks to do their broadcasts.

And I can’t wait for the bitching about the Prime problems once this starts.

I read that all these pay to play are starting to get pushback. All their seperate bills are going up up up. People are just now realizing Cable might be better as they already bundled networks into one package, one service and one bill. There are folks paying so many seperate/smaller bills when added up are equal to or more than their old cable was. But they have deal with so many dofferent companies.

It will be interesting long term, how the cable vs non cable battle works out.
