Not for this crash in question, it was clear as day.

100%. Hamilton made a bitch move to the outside without have the advantage and clearly turned into Piastri.

Clearly. Piastri had the whole mid section of his car destroyed.

Lucky he walked away.

When we went in 2021 I felt the pricing for concession, beers, etc mostly in line with everything else.

The merch on the other hand? Sheesh! $70 for at shirt or hat, I was going to buy a McLaren hat but just ordered online when I get home. The McLaren Gulf livery hats were $120 at the track, $45 online. I was quite surprised that come Sunday lots of merch was sold out so obviously people were still buying it.

It's happened before. See LeClerc and Vettel a few years back.

Piastri got screwed way before that incident.

Once again he has a good 1st stint then mclaren strategy screws him again.
Again Lando gets to undercut Piastri and again gets a 2.1sec stop and Piastri a 2.7 stop.
The perfect amount for Lando to pass

Now Piastri gets to sit behind Lando who can't pass albon(and couldn't pass piastri with the aid of drs)and allows Hamilton to gobble him up and take out.

There was a very horrific incident in Brazil in Moto 1000 GP the other day - two racers lost their lives. RIP

Apparently word on da screet is that Norris may bolt for Checo's seat a year early...which would be very ironic for Palou given his current predicament with Mclaren.

I don't want to see Pato or Colton go to F1, since they form the bedrock of the next generation of Indycar talent to help the series claw back to where it was in the 90s, however Idgaf if Palou goes because he's kind of boring.

Since Pato and Colton don't have the Super License (total joke) , I wonder who Zak would hire for the 2nd Mclaren... Checo maybe?

They have no one in their pipeline outside of Herta and Pato.

They can hire back the one guy who has won a race for McClaren in the past decade or more

I lol'd.

First time posting since the race. Might have topped last week as my favorite race of the year. Was nice to see Max in the action at least for 10 laps or so. Seems like he hasn't had to really race someone more than a few turns all year long.

happy for Carlos. He drove his arse off all race. All weekend for that matter.

Continuing to root harder and harder for Albon every week. IMO, he's been the most impressive driver on the track this year, outside of Max (not a Max fan but regardless he deserves credit for an already all-time great season). If he keeps it up he has an outside shot at finishing around 10th. Be hard to do but I could see one or two of Gasly, Stroll or Ocon dropping. I think jumping Piastri would probably be the harder challenge.
