Catalunya was 1000 euro in the main grandstand for 2. I'd rather go to Europe if I'm going to pay that much for tickets. At least I get to watch the race with a lot of fans from around the world. It was a blast.

They are pricing out a lot of fans, especially casual fans.
As I said before, F1 is the ultimate expression of capitalist excess. They always go to the highest bidder (thus all the races in shithole countries where the dictators steal from the people to pay the high fee with no concern to make the money back). They will take as much money from you as they can. As long as the race attendance is packed, they know they aren't charging enough money. The price will continue to go up until attendance goes down by nn%. They already think Americans have it easy because you can watch the races for free with just basic cable. People in some other countries have to subscribe to a premium channel to watch F1.
Since I watch and like many forms of racing, I don't understand the willingness to throw so much money at F1. I've attended events in F1, IndyCar, ALMS, IMSA, Moto GP, World Superbike, AMA, etc, and they are all fun and very cool to experience. No series is worth this kind of money. F1 ain't that awesome an experience compared to other racing series.

Was thinking about going next year and after a quick look at the ticket prices I would have to agree.
Anybody ever done general admin at COTA? Good experience? Worth it? Just don't know if I can justify grandstand prices.

Fred Vasseur leaving Sauber/Alfa and becoming the new Ferrari team boss.
Seidl leaving McLaren and joining Sauber.
Andrea Stella takes over at McLaren.
Silly season TP edition is here.

Awaiting Carlos Sainz' douche cousin manager's reaction to the news seeing as how Vasseur and Chuckles Lecluckles have a good prior relationship.

Do we think Zak Brown moonlights as a senior-level offshore drilling engineer? He's got the look

That means 2022: Aston Martin's TP becomes Alpine TP, which loses its young driver to McLaren, which loses its TP to Sauber, which loses its TP to Ferrari. #F1

What a damn morning of F1 breaking news… F1 Troll summed it up perfectly with meme of a green mile “boss, I’m tired”

I'm probably a bit jaded with this, but I think all the coordinated announcements was for DTS.

General admission at $500 for three days? If you include two good concerts, maybe, but the parking at $500, or riding a bus out to it for $75 a day? frick that.

Not to mention getting stranded waiting on the bus.

Anyone been to the Monaco or Spanish GPs? I am a new F1 fan who enjoyed the season and I'll be in that area of the world next year for both races. I do not think I will be able to make either race next year, but I may be able to make practice sessions or qualifying. Nevertheless, can anyone shed some light on their experiences at Monaco or Barcelona?
Thank you
Thank you

I went to the Spanish GP as did Mr. Blutarski last May. It was a great experience but two things.
The transportation system could be a lot better. Be prepared to wait a long time for the bus leaving the event. The track is a half hour drive from Barcelona. I would even attempt to drive there and park.
It was hot as frick. Pay to sit in a covered grandstand.

DIdn't realize the female circuit was going to be 15 drivers. Three per team.
Any familiar names that might be racing in it?
