I had to leave the house after the red flag and before know Ghou was okay. Just got caught up.

Holy shite what a race! I haven't made that much noise while watching a race in a long time.

Random notes:
-fricking Brit announcers. I'm a big Russell fan, and even I place blame on him for that mess, but the announcers just brushed it off.
-I was questioning putting Ham on hards at his first stop, and I still might be questioning it had the SC not happened.
-Chuck got fricked. Having said that, I'm relieved Sainz got his first win. It was a long time coming. He'd been so close a few times.
-Checo needs to bring his dad to every race.

when you can just push a guy outside track limits with impunity that is not hard racing. It's dirty.
Don't act like Hamilton doesn't do that shite, and hasn't done it his entire career.

Guess it depends on who or what team is the one pushing guys off the track.
Indeed.

Super exciting racing today, some of the most obnoxious moves I've seen in a while. I'm disappointed that Charl wasn't able to hold P1 but Carlos getting his first win in Britain is great for him. It looks like we're going to get another epic ending to an F1 season.

You assume I am a Ham fan because I call out Max's bullshite.

I'm laughing at you.

*A couple pages back a guy says I'm a Ham hater. Closer to accurate.

First F1 finish I've ever watched live

Disappointed to learn it's not always like that

Not to mention that what Ham has done in years past has nothing to do with what Max did to Mick today.

I know that’s a complex idea for some folks on here.

Can someone fill me in in the team orders that Carlos ignored? I assume he was told to let Charles through?

And why was Binotto fussing at Leclerc? Charles was complaining?

Thanks

Ferrari actually told him to hold HAM back to let Chuck pull out a lead.

Chuck with a trashed wing and old hard tires was not going to pull away. No matter how awesome that pass he threw down at Copse was.

This race was so good. Not only my favorite driver won but just sheer entertainment value. What a final 10 laps.

According to Medland: Albon went to the hospital and there has been no update.

That dicing with Max actually impressed me. Mick showed he can drive and bring the car home.

Even if I would have liked it if he dumped Max in the last corner when he had the chance to.

At first glance that didn't look like much of a hit, but apparently he had some pretty good forward momentum into the wall even though has was also sliding down track.

I still gotta say he was clanking around with 40lb steel balls keeping that pig in the fight. Honestly he shoulda been back getting shoved off the track by max but he stayed right up front. He was incredible

Not saying it was Earnhardt level, but it was head on into that wall. Reminiscent of how cars can do that.

During the last few laps when they were showing these guys, I was wondering who was under more pressure, Max needing to maximize points for his championship, or Mick, who needed to score his first ever F1 points (which he could do by just finishing, he didn't need to pass Max). You know Max was going to fight. Credit to Mick for not just cruising to the finish. But it would have been more interesting if Max had been in P10 and Mick in P11 those last few laps.
