It's a tough spot, because hard racing almost always crosses the line, but you want to see it.
I like and want hard racing as well. However, when you can just push a guy outside track limits with impunity that is not hard racing. It's dirty.
And F1 has a rule that they said they were going to enforce this year. Guess it depends on who or what team is the one pushing guys off the track.

Im with you. I really need to go back and watch it again.
In the moment I thought Checo went to hard on Leclerc and Hamilton, especially considering how clean Leclerc and Hamilton were with each other.
I do appreciate the stewards letting them drive though.

Mattia just said on Sky Sports that they weren't confident they could double-stack them so pitted Carlos as Charles had track position and wasn't sure how cars behind would react if the leader pitted.
Karun questioned it being a double-stack due to the gap being enough but Binotto brushed it aside.

Seb joined Mick for his F1TV interview and said he was screaming "Go Mick! Go Mick!" when he saw Schu closing in on and battling Max.
Not a fan of his tree hugging views, but that was cool.
Mick with big smiles.
And felt F1 needs to look at how some are not leaving racing room.

I think Seb gets who he is to Mick and doesn't mind filling that role however he can.

Great race. The media is going to make this Ferrari situation worse internally if they don’t come together as a group and get everybody on board with what they are doing and who is boss.

Have we seen what actually happened with Max?

On a bonus side today. My daughter (15) caught the last 20 minutes with me. There be hope for her yet. She likes it once she started to realize it was more then just cars going in circles.

It's really too bad Michael can't be there for Mick. Seb is a pretty good guy to be taking that role, as much as he can, in a way.

What a great race. That's what they all should be. Fantastic and Ferrari managed to frick LeClerc over again.

My youngest daughter came downstairs to check on me because of the last laps with the yelling going on downstairs with all the crazy passing with Perez, Ham, and Chuck

Why no replays…so dumb.
It's not dumb at all. F1 is adamant that in the case of a possibly serious accident no replay is shown until it is known that the driver is ok. It's a good position.

I guess it's the new cars but it always seemed to me that safety car restarts over the years were just parades unless there was some weird tire issue. It does seem like these cars can race on proper circuits

It's a good position.

Why did both Ferraris switch to hards when their mediums can last half the race?
Because they started the race on mediums. You have to use two tire compounds in the race.
