Wow, it would have to be a late race, green flag at 9:00 or 10:00 pm Vegas time.
Suzuka is a 2pm local start so 6am London time.
Most of the races are not so many time zones away from London so the Euros can deal with it.

McLaren is the only team (for now) where there is a light on the guns that turn green when the tire is tightened appropriately
McLaren has a history of custom wheel guns while most of the paddock has used Paoli (I think that name is correct). They may have been the first ones to use helium but that was outlawed about a decade ago.

Snap On is impressed with the pricing.
I wonder if after losing Uralkali Haas had to switch to the Harbor Freight version or maybe they had enough money for Blue Point guns.

A friend of mine did just that. Bought 2 for Miami but was on the fence about going, put them up for sale just to see, paid $900 each and sold them for $3000 each. Turned around and bought 4 for COTA and plans to sell 2 of them.

COTA Chairman: We're building a 'massive amusement park' with plans to open in 2023
As NASCAR pulled out of town Sunday night, Circuit of the Americas Chairman Bobby Epstein touted the track's crowded calendar and plans to give Central Texans more reasons to visit the sprawling sports and entertainment venue.
"We're building a massive amusement park that I hope opens in '23," he told the American-Statesman during NASCAR weekend. "We'll have 30-plus rides and two mega-coasters. One of them will be the first of its kind in the country. It'll be an amusement park to rival any other."
"We've got a lot of room out here, and we'll keep adding events," Epstein said of the 1,500-acre complex.
A COTA study said the track has had a $5 billion impact on the Austin area over its 10 years.
Epstein last month signed a critical new five-year contract with Formula One, the track's marquee event, told the Statesman he expects MotoGP to return for at least five more years and is working with Speedway Motorsports to bring NASCAR back in '23.
The U.S. Grand Prix drew record crowds last October, according to F1 officials, with 140,000 on race day and north of 300,000 for the weekend. The 2022 race on Oct. 23 already is a sellout.

quote:Hell, I should put all four up for sale as a package, with hotel. I have two rooms reserved for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, paid for using my Hilton points . You can't find a room in Austin, or, at least, they aren't advertising as available and are holding for high rollers who will pay anything). I bet, with parking pass, hotel and Ed Sheeran tickets by the stage I could get $15k for the whole package.

I got Miami tickets off ticketmaster but am unable to sell. I guess I have to wait for them to officially deliver to me before im able to? It’s saying I don’t have the ability to currently. We had a group do Austin last year but couldn’t get everyone together for Miami so may do Austin again or Montreal. But we are trying to do Spa or Monza next year. Montreal if we do Austin again:

Did he get them off ticketmaster? Did he resell on ticketmaster or through stub hub?

Just got my flights booked VA. We'll be arriving on Thursday morning at 9:30. Need to plan on meeting up. Our seats are in the Paddock Club. Never been to a race but that area looks awesome.

We absolutely need to meet up.

We arrive in Barcelona at 1:10 PM on Friday so we'll miss FP1 and FP2. I'll sell those tickets if possible.
We're staying until Tuesday morning so if you're still there Monday we can get together for lunch and drinks and discuss the race. We can also look to get together at the track on Saturday or Sunday.

Really need a rail system to get there from Austin. Those roads are stupid for that number of cars.

Something certainly needs to be done, I read about it beforehand but was still shocked that after the race on Sunday took us over 2 hours just to get off the COTA property. Once out traffic wasn't terrible but leaving the grounds was a disaster, still took nearly 3 hours to get back to the hotel.
We stayed for Billy Joel on Saturday night and were out surprisingly quick, once we got to the car it was only about 30 minutes to get out and back to the hotel. I suppose it just wasn't as crowded for quali plus many people didn't stick around for the concert.
Next time I go we plan to kill some time post-race. We could've stuck around and caught Kool and The Gang, or a set from DJ Shaq Diesel
