The way golf courses are set up, the technology helps players disproportionately. Old guys that might normally hit 270 can hit 330. That’s a huge difference. That puts Par5 in play to hit the green in 2 shots whereas normally it’d be 3 shots for older guys
But say a guy like Bryson could get to the green on a Par 5 in 2 with old tech. Him using new tech isn’t going to give him a stroke advantage like it would an older player that would have no chance without it
