He needs to dial back the nitro. Every body part currently activated to overdrive.

The way golf courses are set up, the technology helps players disproportionately. Old guys that might normally hit 270 can hit 330. That’s a huge difference. That puts Par5 in play to hit the green in 2 shots whereas normally it’d be 3 shots for older guys

But say a guy like Bryson could get to the green on a Par 5 in 2 with old tech. Him using new tech isn’t going to give him a stroke advantage like it would an older player that would have no chance without it

That's not how the technology works. If you hit it in the center it doesn't go any farther than it did 15 years ago when stuff like the Burner were the new tech.

What they eliminate is foul balls. They're incredibly good at keeping the ball on the planet when you hit it way off the toe or heel.

The reason pros hit it so far is they can swing as hard as they can without fear of hitting it 80 yards offline

Good thing he's made hundreds of millions then

Thats the thing about federal court cases

We know he probably gambled that all away too

This is a guy known for putting 100 million dollars into a scam that also was shut down by the feds

He is the definition of what goes wrong

I admire the fans who have the maturity to experience this moment without recording it on their cell phone.

You aren't wrong with this take. Hitting the ball with the sweet part of the club is 100% the difference between a bad golf shot and a great golf shot. New club technology makes that sweet spot a bit larger.

I remember buying the TM Burner driver in 1986 for 80 bucks. 10.5 degrees and the head was still about the size of a cup cake.

I’d argue it’s so much bigger now. That twist face technology is unreal.

My wife is pretty used to me yelling at the TV but whatever I said when Phil changed grips on that putt seems to have her concerned...

Damn...this is fun.
