Seems pretty hyper technical as it related to the horse that filed the objection.

Once again, replay has ruined another sport.

Yes. But it’s illegal in a sport where unarmed humans are atop animals traveling at fast speeds

What?

Maximum Security absolutely interfered. That's not debatable.

I agree, but frick the horse that actually got knocked, right? Give it to the scrub who benefited from the actual interference.

This is a stupid rule and decision.

It absolutely didn’t affect the outcome. The better horse clearly won the race.

This was about the officials making it about themselves. There has never been a winner pulled down due to action on the track at the Derby in 144 years before today. This race will be remembered as the officials awarding a fraudulent “winner”.

The guy said he's going to lose millions. That's not true. He'll lose the purse, but as a stud his time and performance is still there.

The 20 was helped by Maximum Security’s interference, if anything.

I don't get the problem. Just let another horse pass you?

Yes

For fricks sake people if this wasn’t a rule there would be a jockey death every race

If they are going to start enforcing that in the Derby, which is a valid rule, they need to limit the field to 12, like almost every other race.

The horse that got screwed the most was the 4. He came to a dead stop and he didn’t file a protest. That to me was interesting.

Edit:

Umm.. Not saying that War of Will would have won, but he was clearly moving up prior to being interfered with. The interference ended his race.
