I think the very name "san antonio" is profanity in PHX, though. I mean, I have family there. My grandfather in law isn't even a basketball fan, and HE hates San Antonio

The celtics of the 60s were a fast break team. Russell got the rebound or blocked the shot and fired outlet passes to the key the break. His contribution to the offense was he STARTED the offense for guys that could score in transition.
The celtics didn't need or want a center who posted up on the block. Russell was perfect for their style.
