So TMZ has video of him getting into his vehicle, and he really doesn't seem bad at all. Not dismissing the DUI, but he also wasn't just completely trashed.

Yeah, he wasn't trashed but you could see it in his face and in his mannerisms as well. Also, the dimepiece looked like she barely drank, get her to drive. Either that or pay someone. If I'm making $10+ mil a year, I think I can pay someone a couple hundred bucks to be my DD, especially after already being arrested once for it this year

The officer noted that Lawson's speech was slurred, his "breath had a strong odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage, balance was swaying/stumbling, eyes were bloodshot/watery." Lawson refused to submit to a chemical test and was taken to the Downtown Detention Center, the report said.
In 2008, Lawson pleaded guilty in a North Carolina court to underage drinking and driving. He had been a player on the University of North Carolina basketball team.
Lawson, 27, has been with the Denver NBA club since 2009, after being drafted out of North Carolina by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who traded him to the Nuggets on draft night.
In August 2013, Lawson, was arrested in Arapahoe County on suspicion of physical harassment and criminal mischief involving domestic violence, along with his girlfriend, Ashley Nicole Pettiford.
The domestic violence case, in which both Lawson and Pettiford were charged, was dismissed in October 2013. That case involved a loud verbal dispute and broken cell phones.
This is a developing story that will be updated as more information becomes available.

If people think Harden's defense is bad, just wait until you get a heavy dose of Thornton. Granted, he will give the 2nd unit a much needed scoring punch. He can be a black hole but there really isn't anyone on the 2nd unit to give a bunch of shots to

Lawson and Harden don't get along and Lawson wants to be a team's number one scorer. He's not going to Houston.

I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but Harden has never been the type of defender that can be targeted. He is great on the ball, and one of the best post defending guards in the league. So even during his worst days, I didn't consider him a liability. He'd lose focus and give up a couple of back screens in a night. Way better than when a player is so bad that the other team starts specifically targeting them as the weak spot of the defense.
