I’m not arguing for LSU to be ranked top 10 where as Indiana was ranked 4th Saturday morning.

Why is Indiana ahead of UCLA or Utah or any other P4 1-loss team?

Why do yall care so much about a poll that is quite literally meaningless when the meat of the season just started?

But your #1 ranked team lost to Auburn?? That’s sound logic right there.

Yea i don't place as much value in who you lost to as much as who you beat. And I don't get why others don't do the same. It makes no sense and it's the biggest flaw with the cfb ranking system. Anyone can lose a game they shouldn't (fluke TOs, rivalry game, QB gets injured, let down game after a big win, etc.) We see it every year. But a bad team isn't going to get multiple quality wins.

Right now ND has no quality wins and they lost to BYU. UGA lost to Auburn but beat Bama on the road and Florida

Look at it this way: there's an article on the home page with Joel Klatt saying LSU should get in with 3 losses if they beat Bama, Tenn, and Arky but lose to Texas. That's bullshite. They would have 2 Quality wins all year in Bama and Tenn with 3 losses. But compare that resume vs if LSU beats Bama, Texas, and Tenn but loses to Arky. Doesn't the 2nd resume look like the better team? That team may have a case

How has the Big10 fared against the SEC so far this year?

Texas (3-2 SEC) won at home vs. Ohio State (4-1 B1G) 24-23

Miss State (2-4 SEC) won @!Minnesota (3-2 B1G) 38-13

Oklahoma (2-3 SEC) lost @ Michigan (2-3 B1G)17-10

How have the SEC and Big10 fared against P4 non-conference teams this year? From what I can find, it looks like.

SEC 10-2

B1G 4-10

Now do last year, it was the same story. Reg season early season OOC means little as the matchups are imbalanced and the teams don’t even know what they have in this transfer era.

Last year Iowa got best by Iowa state and went on to kick the shite out of 10-2 Vandy and their heisman finalist. Bowls and playoffs are evenly matched after lengthy play.

God forbid we have a discussion about college football on a LSU based message board discussing college football.

Why do you care so much that people disagree with you on it?

H2H only matters for closely ranked teams. There are many examples of this going back the past 12 years. OSU will probably end up 5-10 spots ahead in the initial ranking.
