The last possesion wasn't the worst of the three. In the two possessions prior he takes a fade away 3 that barely catches iron, then gets a 3 blocked late in the shot clock on the next possesion. ND was one of the most efficient offenses all year. He single handedly stagnated it down the stretch.
This. Grant single-handledly lost this game for them. They were playing team ball all game and he goes all ball hoggy at the end.

Wisconsin gets the best team left in the tourney.
Uhh no. Wisconsin = best team, Kentucky = best players

Duke - Gonzaga tomorrow could be epic as well.
WISC/UK are both deserving teams to be in FF. They have 3 losses combined (all from WISC).

He also drilled that deep 3 to put ND up 2 right before those 2 possessions and is their best player.
Go back and watch those final possessions. Grant got the ball with 15 seconds left, Notre Dame stopped running their offense and cleared out. They obviously wanted Grant to take the shot. That was when he hit the rim with the 3.
And on the possession late in the shot clock, WCS was on Grant and he couldn't pass the ball anywhere. Tried to pass it to Auguste up top, ball was tipped, Grant got it back and had to get a shot off.

Right? ND was probably the hottest team in the land, played great, and still lost. This isn't embarrassing for Kentucky. It was a really good win.

Calipari is such a dick...."we didn't play well and they played great..."
How is that being a dick? Its absolutely true. UK was lucky to win
Actually, that is being a dick. Notre Dame is an excellent team that beat Duke twice, North Carolina twice, Michigan State, and Louisville. They didn't do anything abnormally special in this game to keep it close.

I think I agree

Your point? UK didn't play well. What ND has or hasn't done has zero to do with it.

Yeah but all four teams that played today are all more deserving. Gonzaga could make an argument.
SEC Champ vs ACC Tournament Champ (Defeated Duke)
BIG 10 Champ vs Pac 12 Champ

I've seen ND play a few times. That didn't seem like one of their better games either.

Except those better games were against teams that weren't Kentucky...
