These tickers might be slight meme stocks, and there are a lot of things that are "the future of energy". But I think small modular nuclear reactors will be a growing part of the energy infrastructure. And those will need fuel.

Joining the party with UUUU and NXE.

I wish there were an easy ETF for this, but went ahead and bought individual stocks for NuScale Power (SMR), Fluor (FLR, majority owner of SMR), and BWX Technologies (BWXT). Also some Nano Nuclear Energy (NNE) which is small cap and seems to have daily 10% swings.

WOW. The report on Google investing in SMRs sent some of these through the moon this morning.

Nuclear, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), and Uranium is on an tear today.

UUUU up 10%+
SMR up 25%+
FLR up 4.8%
NXE up 4% bump today

That’s two major corporation on board the nuclear train.

MSFT / 3 Mile Island news was proof of a major shift in public opinion around nuclear.

I’m holding URNM long term.

I think big tech’s ethical and transparent business practices really put people at ease when it comes to nuclear. But, it could also be that some opinions are more equal than others.

I mean even some of the environmental groups are coming around (Sierra Club).

The market still is not fully absorbing: (1) the current production deficit which does not even factor in this new demand; and (2) more and more of KAP production is not going to make it to the west.

There will be an oh shite moment and it will be crazy. Ofcourse I have predicted 12 out of the last 0 of those lol

Amazon also announced today their investment into nuclear/SMR technology.

Just a crazy day with the news cycle. I think one of the main drivers is that they are finally coming around that the only way to meet "Green Initiative" goals and CO2 reduction targets is nuclear energy.

It's coming and demand 10 years from now is tomorrow in uranium land. The rubberband is being pulled tighter and tighter. That said, inevitably this will cool off and we'll have another dip buying opportunity (this is my mindset to help me stomach the volatility anyway) so I don't think it's smart to chase. I'm just adding on dips and holding on for dear life until your oh shite moment comes.

Bought in a year ago and within a few months looked pretty smart

Then a few months later looked pretty dumb

Now I’m looking smart again

I hear you. Thinking of selling some now to jump back in on dip. Anyone else taking some nuke money off the table or diamond hands?

I'm a diamond hand for my uranium stocks.

UEC gained > 5% so far today to the mid $8's. My entry average cost per share is around $0.77. I expect this one to be a gem on its way to $35-50 per share.

DNN, URA, UROY and Fission Uranium are all on the upswing.

I like URNJ for my uranium ETF because it has the small cap holdings but smooths out the wild swings the individual stocks are prone to.

I liked SMR but I sold the last of mine on the July pop. Insiders have been consistently selling off their positions on that one. I know some people don't put much weight on insider buys and sells but I pay close attention to it. If they don't want to buy it, or even hold onto majority of their options, I don't want it either.

North American Uranium stocks still moving up nicely. And NuScale (SMR) up nearly 150%.

UUUU up 50% last 2 months
NXE up about 40%

I think investing in domestic energy and resources will give a solid return these next few years.

Yes

Thought about bumping the thread during the recent dip but the contrarian argument often gets defeated upon

We've seen a rebound but in the short term it could go either way. Two to ten years from now prices will be much higher IMO

Still riding the roller coaster that is short term movements.

Long term thesis is as strong as ever - the expected structural deficit seems to grow every week....

Breaking news today: US just awarded a contract to Anfield to drill in Utah - the first contract awarded under the new expedited approval process.

Something to keep an eye on...

I bought some ANLDF and am up $45 today.
