Here’s where I was
I had quite a bit of money in HYSAs and CDs because in my mind the market just couldn’t keep going up and up. Well I was right and there was a big dip. Two months later, everything had recovered.
Here I was anticipating a crash that did happen and I would have been better off just leaving everything in the market the whole time. Learned my lesson about timing the market and while I missed out on some gains, I didn’t do anything too stupid like sell at the bottom.
