You would be lucky to get 20% of a work force in an area like this who would want to work. And good luck getting them to pass a drug test.

People do drugs because their life sucks

If you give them gainful employment that they can be proud of they’ll get off drugs

This also assumes we cut welfare programs to take away the option of drawing a check for doing nothing

The youngest boomers are only 60 years old. Most Americans are not retired at 60 regardless of generation. So stop.

It could be different for you and I hope it is but the majority of Americans are not prepared to retire until 65 or older. I plan to work until FRA myself. I like what I do.

My parents just hit retirement age but do not have enough money to retire so my sister and I supplement. May we never hit that scenario

I hope for you that they never have to go in a home because that is a huge financial burden. Been through it.

Amazing what happens when the environment is set up to enable this.
That can be changed.

It's certainly a lot harder to hire skilled people than it was 10 years ago, but my company manufactures 3 times as much stuff with less people than we did 10 years ago as well. It's not an impossible situation if the correct environment is constructed. I used to ask people what 3/8 minus 3/16 is when I hired them just to gauge their knowledge of a tape measure, now I'm asking "you ever heard of a 16th of a inch?", no? Ok just show up, my machinery and processes will do the rest. Yet it hasn't stopped us from growing, improving our offerings, and efficiency over the years. When unemployment ticks up a little, you can find people, or you find work arounds, or you automate. If it financially makes sense, capitalism will find a way.

Fed is going to lower rates soon. Maybe not next meeting but soon. As soon as Trump quits flip flopping on tariffs, they will probably pull the trigger.

Agree, it’s not going to end well.

It’s going to end fabulously.

Anyone too chickenshit to go through what needs to be gone through to set massive amounts of fraud and instability straight, I don’t know how to help you.

You are an enemy of your fellow citizen.

Is fraud just a meaningless word now? What people are calling fraud seems to just be pork spending. Sure, it might be gratuitous/wasteful/etc., but the “fraud” all seems to be funds appropriated by Congress and spent.

Please don’t do to the word fraud what the left did to the word gender.

Look at the up vs down votes. The politards are here to tell us they know nothing about finance but the baw who filed for bankruptcy 10 times is a financial genius.
