Crazy how the vote is a month away and then results of that vote is another month. Going to be a crazy ~60 days. Can't imagine the other news that might trickle out or be held back until that is complete.
Would be awesome to confirm the redomicile and subsequently announce a partnership with Tesla/SpaceX or with a handful of battery companies
ETA: my shares went on loan this morning. I really don't understand short sellers. How do they see value in trading against such headwinds?

Shorts probably saw me add 500 shares this morning and acted accordingly

Correct… you don’t understand how they will use your shares to devalue your stock and vote against your best interest at a shareholders meeting.
But you give them that power anyway.
Maybe you should ask AI.
Or maybe you shouldn’t do things you don’t understand.

That doesn't mean there won't be any news for the next couple of months. They could announce the uplisting to the NASDAQ Exchange at any time during the next 2 months. They could also announce the breaking ground in Bellville or new contracts.
This redomicile announcement is just the tripwire for all that is coming. We don't know which domino is going to fall next, and when...

How many peaks and valleys will this thing see?
Who, here, is going to play that rollercoater?

Well I read the terms and stand corrected. I thought I previously read that voting rights did not transfer.
Nevertheless, anyone with shares on loan can recall them prior to Sept. 11th and get voting rights back

I wonder what else you and other loaners don’t understand about what you are doing.
If we all loaned our shares…..Oh nevermind…

Exactly the same thought I had
I’m not going to even pretend shorting a stock from a strategy stand point
I have not will not ever do it
But if I was shorting the stock, I would be extremely nervous right now
And be looking to exit my position

In a thread where I assume everyone is interested in share prices going up, those same people are loaning out their shares to people who want the opposite
I’ll never understand that
I’ll never understand that

The most concise explaination of loaning out shares is this….
It’s like shaving points in a basketball game and hoping the rest of the team isn’t doing the same thing.
If enough teammates shave points you lose the game.
If only you shave points you may still win the game and you make some side money.
I would rather be a team player and guarantee we win the game and beat the opponent with an arse whipping.

One other angle is confidence long term. If you are confident long term (>greater than 12 months) that a company is on the uptick and the shorts are so busy with swinging a number of start-up companies that they do only surface level DD. HG fits in that category.
The shorts will make their money, but some will get burned when this does what we believe it will.
The $0.50c swings will seem really minor in a year or two and some will make $20K-$40K in interest off the shorts on the way up the ladder.

There are three aspects of shorting stocks and most of the people posting only seem to understand one aspect.
Sophisticated short sellers still make money on the way up, but I’m driving right now and I can’t explain it to y’all

How would we go about voting?

Be on the lookout for emails from your brokerage.

Your broker may lend your shares out, without your permission, to make money for themselves. This is a little illegal but they do it, so it must be more profit than fines, if caught.
If you have a sell order on, they are strictly banned from naked shorting your shares. I just re-upped my sell order for $50/share. I did it GTC. It will expire on 2-12-27.
They do not mess with shares that have a sell order.
