Everything I have read on this since before it IPO'd said not to buy it until after October of 2026 because the employees are able to sell their shares sometime in Oct (I think its the 6th) which will cause another dump. After the dump settles out that is when you are supposed to buy this one for the long term.

It’s almost as though the market is setting the price and it’s higher than some were hoping for.

It is called minimizing your losses and I do it on ALL highly volatile, high beta stocks and have been for the better part of 20 years. Do you use AI to assist in your investing? Claude is way more aggressive in setting stops for high beta stocks than I am. It can save you a shitload. My stop on NBIS popped at 206.225 this morning and it is at 189.40 right now. I saved a shitload. No bags left. I will reassess tomorrow with the ability to buy more shares at a lower price tomorrow. If you lived through the dot com and 2007-8, you would have stops on all of your high beta stocks as well.
Now that is a great strategy to lose money.

opened 107, now 114 not too shabby
2x average volume at 250MM shares...volume bears watching.
SPCX float now 1.5B shares available to trade
market cap now 1.5T
this is fascinating to watch.
check this out, current spread
Bid 111.52 x 300
Ask 114.50 x 100

Please refrain from hurting ZZTOP's feelings. They/them will revert to creating a new alter, like many times before.

I feel like this stock is about to enter a purgatory between 100 -120 until all lock ups phase out and cap ex spending spree ends. Then it will run hard.

The lockup release today was not employees it was institutional pre IPO investors. These investors have been in this for many many years. Employee stock is the very last to release in December except for musk who is locked up for another year

quote:yes I think so too. But it may stay in a range for a year or more (thru 2027) before that happens. For the real move up you need revenue blast off
Then it will run hard.

Hurt my feelings?
I'm the only one on this board that's made money on the demise of this POS.
I bought SSPC 2X Short ETF at 6.10 and more than tripled my money
How long will it take the longs to triple their money on SPCX?
They will probably be lucky to get back to break even

You didn't answer the question.
If you get stopped out at 105 and it pops back to 115 are you going to repurchase it at 115 and set another stop at 105?
And then if you get stopped at 105 again and it pops right back to 115 are you going to repurchase at 115 a 3rd time and set another stop at 105?
Is your strategy to buy at 115 and sell at 105 indefinitely?

You are new to this aren't you? I mean, it depends. I am not basing my decision on FOMO like it sounds like you are. I am minimizing losses and looking at resistance and looking for stocks with a tailwind. Not blindly buying because something drops and I am fearful it might pop.

For Example, NBIS stopped yesterday at 206.23. I just bought back some of my position at 181 and change and set another stop. I like this long term but want to take advantage of better entry points. Do you see where a $25 difference can be beneficial?
Posted on 8/7/26 at 9:53 am to ZZTOP
Now with spcx up to 127.36 I am tightening my stop to 120 to protect gains. Let me know if you need more advice, I am happy to help. Oh and I have a tight stop on NBIS of 178 with a 181 purchase rate.

Of course you did Norway, you are a legend of impeccable timing here. I lost count of how many times you perfectly timed the market.
Maybe you should show us a screenshot of these trades so we can bask in your brilliance. You never got around to doing that for your NVDA trades that dwarfed all our gains.

Made a lot of money on this one today. I now have a stop at 120. Former resistance around 121 hopefully turning into support. If we can hold above 120 until the next unlock on the 20th 150 will be the next meaningful level. if it goes below I will regroup and look to get back in around 110 or even 105.

It is at 135, so I played this the way I was hoping to. I have a stop at 120 but am considering tightening that or maybe even selling here. I think we could see closer to 100 on this one before it becomes a legitimate long candidate. You see how your idea of averaging down would have not worked here. You would have missed it completely.
