All the signs have been there for a while, but I’m not sure it’s going to happen anytime soon. The printer will continue to go brrrrrrr and the government will prop it up. Just my thought.

Slim to none, unless the Fed says they will be raising rates.

At this point we should just sticky a "when is the next market crash" thread at the top of the board to avoid duplicates....

when Biden delisted non pink current stocks I didn’t speak up because they didn’t come for me

When a lot of otcs got moved to the expert market I didn’t speak up because they didn’t come for me

And then when the cringe etfs and blue chips crashed there was nobody to speak up for me!

Stocks crashed like 4 months ago baw. Hope you like that lampshade made of penny stock investor skin compliments of joedolph bidler

It’ll come when these threads stop coming. The fact that these threads pop up daily is more proof that the market still has room to run.

They are openly admitting 20% on the PPI and 5% with increasing coming on the CPI. They are going to be forced to raise rates sooner.

Since the market measurables indicate a fairly expensive market, I think the risk is relatively high that we have a correction. No reason to expect a crash but a correction is due

Now if earnings come in strong for the past quarter then the market might not look so expensive and the risk diminishes

Depending on how you define “soon”, I’d argue there is a 100% chance of a major market crash.

Unless you have some major blow up with the Chinese real estate shite or something completely unexpected, I don't see a "major" market crash coming.

I mean a 25% drop would get you back to pre-covid levels. Not that far fetched

Dont see it going that far. maybe 10% to 15% similar to feb /mar 2021 . The Covid Market dip brought in a lot of new money just waiting to buy the dips. I think unless there is major black swan event like china Invading tawian and U.S. entering. There will be some minor corrections but aint going back to Pre-covid days stock market. I'm buying quality companies in different sectors really expecting a downturn in the upcoming months. Got about 30% cash just waiting to buy on the major dips.

You beat me to it. Was going to post this almost verbatim but decided to read through the thread first rather than blindly replying to the OP.

But the market can correct in a way that it doesn’t really decrease much, and instead stays stagnant while earning catch up.

I would argue that the stock market is crashing because crocs stock keeps going down

They truly are the spirit of America. The pinnacle of American style, technology, design, manufacturing, and engineering and the stock price is just bleeding
