Listening to CNBC audio only, so I'm not sure exactly who it is talking, but they're grilling a Robinhood shill right now.
Asking him if Robinhood shut down "to protect their customer," and they're commission free, meaning retail investors don't pay them, who is the customer they're protecting?

Citadel and Melvin. But they won’t admit that.

I'm getting the same from Fidelity.

I think people have adjusted the previous $420 sell limit based on week’s events. Those that didn’t exited yesterday.

How are you guys placing such high limit sells?
No restrictions on Vanguard, I have sell orders placed at levels I never expect it to actually get to.

The real WSBers took those profits and bought back in at the dip.

Is anyone looking at GME puts a year out? $200 Jan '22 puts seem like a gimme. This thing's gonna come back to earth at some point in the next year. A contract will cost $15,000 though

Settled funds question:
Hypothetical - there's a bump up to $400 today and I sell 10 shares, anticipating another dip. There is no other cash in my account other than the $4,000 i just got from the sale. Do i have to wait 2 days for the funds to "settle" to repurchase. I'm with Schwab.

I have not had to wait for settlement with them.

All bets are off at this point. Usually I would say yes you could probably do that but brokerages are changing rules on the go.

@michaeljburry: There really can't be another GME. Nothing else is/was even close to as shorted (100+% of float), so small (microcap) and so hated/ignored/dismissed prior to the #thebigshortsqueeze. It was a uniquely perfect set up. There won't be another like it. Much like #thebigshort.

I bought 3 shares at $306 this morning. I was really expecting it to jump all over the place after I bought, somewhere in the range of $150-$450
Seems it’s actually been somewhat steady though since I bought in

There are two kinds of people.
Ones with loaded guns and ones who dig.

No one mentioning that free trades and shares at #RobinHood were made possible by sales of the trade flow to Citadel and its ilk. Robinhood's customer is and has been CItadel, not its retail traders. Which makes what is happening this week all the more
