Father/Son Trip - TexasTiger34 on 2/11/19 at 8:31 am
Any recommendations for a mid 30's guy with a mid 60's dad. Both reasonably active, interested in outdoors etc. Any experiences to share? Maybe thinking cabin in CO, NM or some mountain range that might have flyfishing. With or without guide perhaps? Just want good scenery, food, etc. ...

i'm in the same boat. nice neighborhood, mostly nice people but trashy people for some reason like to cut through our neighborhood because it's quicker than taking roads around the neighborhood. i'm in favor of speed bumps and more stop signs. frick the speeders, i got a little girl i'm trying to rai...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

reading through threads like these that pop up time to time on the OT it's usually pretty clear that 90% of the downvotes most likely come from yoyos that : - have never traveled outside the south - think hunting and fishing are the only two activities that can be considered "outdoor" - love to ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)
Then why is it so damn difficult to find good bratwurst down here in Georgia? I was born and raised in Chicagoland and good brats were ubiquitous, along with German and Polish folks. Down here? I just haven't seen it, man.
can't answer that question, no experience in georgia. ...
The yankee in me in a huge fan of a high quality bratwurst, grilled with onions and mustard on a warmed hearty roll along with a nice IPA or session ale. This is even better if you're grilling your brats in the parking lot of a stadium.
uhh correction here, that's not that "yanke...

re: at what age did you have to cut back on your workouts - TexasTiger34 on 9/24/18 at 4:25 pm
33 here, it's my family and work travel that has made me have to cut back. Had injuries from time to time throughout twenties but mostly due to actually playing real sports HARD and getting strains. I think more people these days start breaking down earlier than they should because they're pushing i...

re: What does the OT know about Buda, TX - TexasTiger34 on 9/19/18 at 8:18 pm
it's close enough to commute from SA, Aus & New Braunfels all of which have lots of attractions from good schools, neighborhoods, fun stuff to do and decent cost of living(in certain areas) i think it depends on what stage of life you're in. meaning, if you're asking about schools and neighborhoo...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
