Thought PLTR would be up as well but they’re not.

What do y’all think will be the movement once we get closer to Anthropic’s IPO? I’m assuming it will be similar to Space X IPO and the space sector. Do we think we will see a massive run up into the $300’s pre-IPO then a fall back to $220?

I worry about these trillion dollar IPOs. That's a lot of people moving money around in order to buy into the IPO.

DOCN (AI inference cloud) just shot up 14% intraday. Anyone seen any news?

DOCN is technically an NBIS competitor but look at the growth. Their contracted GPU time is up 10x in a year. The question is whether the economics of all this has staying power

Well, it filled to the downside first! $225-226 or so.

Rates are tough. Y'all know the story...

Nebius CEO Volozh estimates $250 billion in capex spend by 2030

Was this expected or is this a big issue? I thought the number was supposed to be around $20-25 billion per year.

Honestly, unexpected. That's about 50bn per year.
I wonder how much can be funded by pre payments?

I think the market is a bit spooked. For good reason...
I'll have to do some digging.

He just upgraded from 3GW to 5GW. They have already raised 20% of it. I suspect that a good bit of it will be prepaid.

Saw an analyst say that the prepaying is a gimmick because they won't get paid for services on the back end, so it's all the same. I say, no way. That's money they don't pay interest on and it decreses the need for dilution...

Is it too much to spend on AI?

i'm really not surprised by that - Jensen was explicitly clear that one gw factory is a $50 billion endeavor now - I would almost assume smaller sizes are probably maybe even more per mw or at minimum the same.

That being said - probably 65 or 70% of that is the Nvidia chips and at today's negotiations they're getting over 50 or 60% of that in prepayment - and it will only go up. And factor in GPU pay off in two years.- never mind all the other software and acid light, etc., angles - we might get some dilation in the next couple years, but it'll be worth it in spades
