The real question with all the data coming is how much does the market have priced in on the day prior to release.

I’d say this market has a fair amount of negative news priced in, unless the data is significantly worse. Much more was priced in on Friday.

maybe, maybe not. what if it's "less bad" than we think it's going to be?

I think if there’s anything less than 1.5mm unemployed then we have a rally. If we are closer to 2mm then we sell off a bit.

I just threw another couple grand into my E*TRADE.

Hopefully it dips tomorrow morning for another buying opportunity and then we ride the wave back up.

If it’s not as bad as we think, they pass the bill, covid numbers level off, and Trump says we’re going back to work before May we should be trending up bigly

I love everyone has reversed sentiment and now looking for anything to bring the market down. It’s amusing

I funded all my accounts yesterday prepping, slightly hoping for a drop.

Absolutely not. Stimulus bill will pay 6 months of unemployment tripled.

I think the timing of the vote and the jobs report is no coincidence.

There's no telling with this market. I went ahead and sold off some small positions for a gain to be ready to buy if there is a drop.

It’s hard not to jump in with the little cash I have left. I have a great talent for catching the falling knife AND setting stop losses only to have it bounce back up.

current estimate is 2.5MM new jobless claims

I sold off this afternoon waited about 30 minutes longer than I'd have liked on a few things. I think we are going to see a much higher number than expected. I think that 2.5million is about 1 million low just due to the people that didnt know they could file for unemployment before, college kids specifically.

Yet the Dow is up 300 in early trading.

I think you’ve got some short covering going on as well as some FOMO.

However everyone seems to believe we’ll sell off some point soon. Sometimes “what everyone knows, ain’t worth knowing.” For the record I’m in the retest/selloff camp.
