He may be right here, but Jamie Dimon is a fricking a-hole who thinks he’s the smartest guy in the world

Agree
Blockchain for real world use cases is antiquated
Hashgraph is not and why that’s the only crypto (HBAR) I dabble in

He may be an a-hole, but he’s one of the best at what he does. He understands the average consumers personal balance sheet at a ridiculously granular level. There may not be another an executive that can guage the pulse of Main Street as well as he can.

Private Blockchains work great for things like software source control.
It doesn't work for things that basically every crypto bro comes up with including being a currency.
Decentralized power inefficient Blockchains don't work for anything. They used to be ok for buying drugs but that was almost two decades ago. Better solutions exist

Smart enough to amass the world’s largest supply of physical silver …

It’s still a better means of transferring money peer to peer than ACH or wire.
JP Morgan stands to lose that arm of the business if blockchain replaces it.

He makes some solid points
I happen to believe blockchain technology is valuable. How valuable? I don’t know.
If there is anyone that knows better than me or any of us posters, it’s Jamie Dimon who runs a bank that clears trillions of dollar a week across the globe

Its the new multi level marketing. I accidentally said "bitcoin went over a hundred" talking to my son while having a beer and this dude next to us launches in to his sales pitch. Had to move to the other side of the bar.

Does the bank own the silver or are they just holding it for clients?
