Wkhs probably declined the contract because USPS wouldn’t pony up the money.

Yes, a company with a 2021 goal of 1800 vehicles produced turned their noses up at $500M

Easy there buddy lol

That dude stresses about losing $17 in crypto. He probably isn't lying if he threw in more than $50 into WKHS

Perhaps there were delivery guarantees attached to contract. Even a USPS employee is smart enough to walk thru that 4,000sq/ft grease monkey garage and realize that don’t have the capability to produce the vehicles in a timely fashion.

You need to put money in something you can forget about. The amount of stress stocks have been continuing to put on you isn’t healthy. Seek help.

This

The money I invest in these stocks is money I don’t need. It’s just a game, like going to the casino. Unlike a casino, though, I can get this month back, and hopefully more. Just enjoy the ride.

'Tis so sweet to trust in money.
Oh, wait. That can't be right.

ETA: I hold WKHS. Average price around 38-39

I’m selling 25% of my WKHS. I bought from $14-$24, a handful later $35, I’m going to take my bathe and put 25% to let it grow as I think stocks will rise today.

Not WKHS though.

FYI: WKHS was my largest holding so I probably should say that before I start giving advice. Obviously, I suck at this.

That’s a disturbing thing to say, even if you’re just joking. There was a guy who used to post here who did just that. I don’t know why or what his underlying issue was. It was a sad thing to learn about. Made this board seem real real, if you know what I mean.

For anyone who’s trading or investing (know the difference - the reason I keep asking people that question), the biggest part of risk assessment is having a plan for the worst case (in the case of a stock, it’s bankruptcy). I hate seeing a *paper* loss. I hate seeing a realized loss even more. But after 40 years or so of doing this, I accept that risk.

Hang in there, dude. As long as you have food on the table and the lights are still on, it’s not THAT bad. Don’t put your faith in the treasures you store up here.

I edited even though it’s been quoted several times. It was a bad thing to say. It was rash, it was harsh.

I’ve lost a very loved person in my life to just that and I don’t usually joke about that sensitive subject.

I’ll be better.

IMO this morning will be a good time to bottom feed on WKHS.

Too much there not to hop in with a reasonable bet at this price.

Be aware that they announce earnings on March 1 before the bell.

Not really.
Most times, you'd be right. Market almost always overreacts to news, giving a good entry point. But sometimes you have to know when do take your losses and move on. It'll for sure be oversold at some point and I except a lot of swings, but the general trend will be down.

So you think now is an acceptable point to cut my losses? You believe the stock will trend down for a while?

I’m way way down, but would happily put it elsewhere if the general consensus it won’t trend up for a while

I don’t see what could be a catalyst for a reversal anytime soon. They needed that contract to really get off the ground floor.

Ugh...i was thinking about averaging down today, but that could be another shot to the gut. I know earnings expectations will be low but if they're worse than expectations, losing more on this is likely.
