Nope retail investors should always be able to predict that brokerages will run into liquidity issues and halt stock purchases on specific stocks.
This is what I learned from the “told you so” crowd. Nothing strange happened here at all.
That said, I never bought GME and exited AMC with a small profit, but am pissed because it would’ve been considerably bigger except for the oh so predictable event I described above. Live and learn

at anyone that thinks shorts were still being squeezed at $350 on Wednesday. They were out.It was just RH buying stocks from other RH guys, and when RH and other platforms stopped allowing new buys, the price cratered on Thursday. Shocker, I know. TD Sponsor

I made a good amount of gains buying on dips and riding off of bounces with GME this week...
over 50% gains when 800c premiums dipped to $1050 and sold at $1600 on a bounce.
Another when premiums dipped to $700, sold for $900.
And then today I flipped $55 premium on 800c for $600
over 50% gains when 800c premiums dipped to $1050 and sold at $1600 on a bounce.
