I’m in an additional ~7K shares today and pretty sure I’m done. Things need to start moving…

Interview With Standard Lithium CEO Robert Mintak
This just popped up in my feed. I haven't read it yet to see if there is anything new that he says.

CleanTechnica: What’s up next for Standard Lithium?
Robert Mintak: I am looking forward to getting my feet on the ground in Arkansas soon. Turning the corner on the pandemic and having travel restrictions removed will allow us to really accelerate our development objectives.
Wake up, Canada.

CleanTechnica: CleanTechnica wrote about Standard Lithium in August 2020, and in the article you noted that Standard Lithium had at the time “a continuous (24/7) operating industrial-scale pre-commercial demonstration plant of our direct extraction technology.” How has the demonstration plant performed? What lessons have you learned as a company? What changes have you implemented?
Robert Mintak: The purpose of designing and running a demonstration plant at such a large, industrial scale is to test, optimize and de-risk the technology, while operating in real world conditions so we can scale directly to commercial with no intermediate step required. Over the past 12 months of operations, the plant has produced terra bytes of performance data which we have used to make optimizations to the process, most recently implementing refinements to improve both reagent and water consumption. We are currently running what we consider to be LiSTR 2.0. The performance data being generated from this current stage will be used to produce an updated mass and energy balance model that will be used for the design and costing work of the first commercial plant and a final investment decision (FID).

He said they are trying to sell the environmental benefits to the Biden admin.
aka: (How big of a bribe do you need to allow us to do business)
I assume they are trying to get the border open.
Also Robert Mintak said nothing about the JV. Presumably this won't be done until the border is open.

I bought 315 more shares at 2.98-3.00. I’ll likely continue to add over the next 2-3 weeks if it hits 3.00 or below again.

According to Stlhf Facebook post, Standard Li and Lanxess were name checked in a whitehouse press release addressing lithium supply chain directives for the Biden administration.
Maybe that state department addition to the Stndard lithium board has been doing work!

Regardless I think it is time the MTBallers voting block sends an emissary to get an update and spur them to action.

If he can’t spawn at least an update, maybe he could score us some very expensive ballcaps.

They're hiring and training to be ready for when the border opens. The number hired is about what they said would be the number of employees for full operation of initial full scale production which was 20k tons/year, but that was before they got the extraction time down from 72 hours to less than seven. Demo plant running to help optimize production and prep. Fannon doing work on border issues and tax incentives for domestic producers and their buyers. They are pushing that they are the only green extraction method on earth currently. That seems to be a big deal for Tesla as well.
When they drop next big news? I'm not sure anyone knows. I've been told last week of June-first week of July, but it wasn't first hand so take it for what it's worth. I've heard nothing that has made me change my position in any way. Haven't been compelled to buy more and haven't sold nor do I have plans to.

Yeah if Tesla partnered with Piedmont, with their non eco friendly method of extraction, you'd think they'd be jumping at the chance to partner with Standard. That and southwest Arkansas is a lot closer to their gigafactories than Piedmont's location in North Carolina.
