This looks like a typical fishing expedition by that law firm. This statement followed by thier contact info tells a story.
They are hoping to grab a few clients.
The price didn't take much of a hit and looks to be headed back in the right direction.
My lending rate did increase to 16% this week. I'm more than willing to take the shorts money and they get burnt at the same time.

Canadian market closed up 6.5%. I wonder if companies ever announce things like DFS results at conferences? 11 days left in 1H...

Lake Resources getting fricked today.

Lake’s PFS came back saying their project is way more expensive and will take way longer than they were saying.

Good lord they over doubled their budget and pushed back their production timeline 6 years.
Don't even want to think about SLI releasing numbers like that

At one time I was up 300% on them. I need to learn when to sell.

Wow! Screwing up their initial estimates that badly looks pretty shady.

Didn't Argentina move to nationalize lithium? If so I wonder if this is sandbagging by Lake to concentrate on other regions?

Maybe SLI will surprise us big time by being ahead of schedule while gaining momentum! Sorry, I'm dreaming!

Maybe some of those Lake investors that bailed will buy SLI

I normally think all the law firms putting out the "Considering action against Company X for potentially misleading investors. Contact us if you have losses" messages are pure ambulance chasers but it might actually be justified with that big of a miss on projections.

Saw one of the tag lines on today's stories for lake where the CEO was fines 150k by the SEC but didn't follow up on that.

Seems to be the popular movement in that whole region these days which is why I'm not going to risk money there.
Venezuela was one of the richest Latin American countries until Marxist government tried to run the economy. Now they are trying to race Cuba to the bottom of the barrel.
One good thing about Castro's rise. All the good chefs came to America and I love some Cuban foods.

So I've gotten multiple emails from Schwab letting me know I can lend my shares. Amateur investor here. I assume this simply means I'll be paid a fee to allow short sellers to buy my shares, right? If I am confident in the stock long term, and understanding that my clicking "agree" allows for additional downward pressure... Anything i'm missing here? Seems like an easy decision to make if I'm okay with that risk. TIA.

What is the minimum share amount where you can lend them out?
Posted on 6/22/23 at 12:25 pm to GREENHEAD22
100 share blocks. It was explained to me that there is no preferential treatment of one Schwab customer over another. On that note, none of my recent purchases have been added to my lent portion.
