I feel once they break ground next year, the lithium is pretty much sold. Once phase 1 is complete and other projects are started, I feel it could really snowball. My 3+ billion isn’t as much this year as it is more once production starts.

Next best thing is for SLI to do a sustained test at the demo plant to demonstrate the entire process from start to finish along with details on costs. As little as a two week to one month run with storage of the final battery grade lithium would fill in all of the missing numbers for interested analysists. The original proof of concept tests are now seemingly ancient history. A more sustained demo run would fill in a lot of the blanks and show the results of the tweaking refinements going on for the last two years.
Any new and more thorough start to finish proof of concept renewal would be a sight for sore eyes.

That article had a lot of incorrect statements.
It assumed that Lanxess owned the entire project and the only thing SLI has is the pending patent, which is not true.
He also made a big deal about insiders selling, which is also false.
