My Dad was on a bi-polar med that was lithium based, I believe. Also think Mike Tyson was as well.

Largest and longest used for treatment of bipolar. Often prescribed for mental health issues.

I lived in a halfway house for a year when I got sober and I had a roommate most of that time that had severe depression and he was on lithium. He hated taking it so it was always a battle to get him to take his medicine but the difference was night and day.
