NVO.

Bought in December 2019 and it’s up 400% since then.

Other than NVDA it’s probably been CTAS.

Is this a good strategy for long term investing rather than picking individual stocks?

NVDA
AKBA
OKLO

Only holding very few individual stocks, my probably stupid strategy is buying a few stocks, if they do well sell them and put into a fund of some sort. Mostly QQQ and BRKB.

Loaded up on Royal Caribbean at $47 and I’m still holding it at $270

Started buying at $1.80 in 2020 crash thanks to a poster on here. It's my largest single holding now.

RIG 230% since 2020.

All my longer term holdings are in mutual funds and ETF's.

I have been in both for 5+ years and will hold for another 20 or so. My holdings in VOO and VUG are both mid 6 figures and up 45% and 53% respectively, so yes I think it is a good strategy

Thanks

I’ve had my share of losers but learned the hard way to set downside limits and be disciplined. I also learned to let winners run. I used to set upside limits and missed some great runs.
