I know it’s probably been asked before but don’t want to look for it.

I use CHATGPT and Claude. And have them go back and forth on my portfolio. I don’t have it trying to pick stocks. Just help with retirement planning. What mutual funds I already have, etc.

I’m not connecting my financial information to a cloud AI provider. I will absolutely seek AI feedback on complex topics on an ad hoc basis.

I tried it for a monthly budget, broke down 3 months of spending vs our income from the period. With a goal of increasing savings by 20-25%.

It suggested that I get a divorce and gave me some lawyer recommendations.

AI has been trading actively for me since 2023.

41 month results. Another 4-5 years like this and my family tree is changed. I have moved all of my non-retirement investments to an active AI trading platform. I use Composer, and it was recently acquired by SoFi.

This is what rallies.ai told me. I just signed up so I'll see how it goes.

Ticker Why it’s on the list 3-month path to +30% What can kill it

MRVL AI networking and custom silicon, still rerating on AI bookings Another beat and raised AI outlook can push estimate revisions higher fast AI expectations already high, any pushout gets punished

ALAB Pure-play AI connectivity, very high beta Platform ramps and hyperscaler demand can keep the post-earnings move going Customer concentration, digestion risk, violent downside if momentum fades

SNOW Software reacceleration plus AI data layer narrative If consumption and AI workloads inflect higher, multiple can expand hard If AI monetization feels more future than present, stock stalls

NET AI-adjacent network/security platform with an immediate catalyst Strong print plus upside guide can squeeze it quickly In-line results are often not enough for a premium software name

AVGO AI ASIC and networking scale, huge estimate power If AI revenue keeps outrunning already-raised expectations, stock can still re-rate The bar is very high, any deceleration gets hit

My ranking, if your sole goal is best blend of upside + catalyst:

MRVL
ALAB
SNOW
NET
AVGO

My blunt take on sizing:

If you put $10,000,000 into one, the most honest candidates are MRVL or SNOW because they give you strong upside without quite the same fragility as ALAB.
If you want the highest upside, ALAB probably has the biggest path to +30%, but also the easiest path to a nasty drawdown.
If you want the smart way to pursue your target, I would not do one name. I’d split the $10,000,000:
$4,000,000 MRVL
$3,500,000 SNOW
$2,500,000 ALAB

Wow. Impressed.

How did you get started on Composer. I just have no idea where to start.

Neither am I. I just run through my general holdings and portfolio and get advice. I took a picture of all of the options in 401k platform and had it assemble a max growth portfolio.

I posted about Composer a few times. I found it in October 22 when they launched and I thought the concept was interesting. Played around with it and put real money in at the beginning of 23.

I determine the parameters and the stocks and ETFs I want to trade. It will leverage some to take advantage of optimal market conditions.

After two years I decided that AI is smarter than I am and dumped my entire non-retirement portfolio in it. I monitor it but in nearly four years I have been spooked by its recommendations three times and all three times I left money on the table. It’s wicked smart. Now that SoFi owns it, it will help with the legitimacy which has been its biggest weakness.

It costs $400 or so a year to connect to ChatGPT but it’s the most powerful AI tool I use.

To get really into it, yes.

But there are thousands of portfolios that people have built (both wannabe quants and total degenerates) that you can just copy and modify to your liking.

Heres the top few on my watchlist, sorted by annualized return. I've got some in Holy Grail. These ridiculous high return ones are working, but are risky.

but to get started, just a free chatGPT acct and then composer? I’m not going to let anything choose companies for me but I would like to see account management suggestions within a given timeframe with a specific goal

You can also get exposure on autopilot and get into the AI platform trading portfolios already setup there.

Composer

Would you recommend this to someone who is young and 90% buy and hold with ~80% in mutual funds?
I'm not old enough to start retirement planning and I certainly don't know enough to day trade. But I save a lot of money and usually just ride the ~12% return investing in mutual funds with a few individual stocks that I play with sometimes. Would I be able to take advantage of it or do I need to have more understanding of the market and be more aggressive into plays such as options?
