What are the best high yield savings rates available? I just got an email from Amex that my HYSA is now 3.9%

Edit - 5/31 went up to 4.0%

AMEX is my best rate. Glad they went up again.

Robinhood's cash (non-invested money) on Gold gets 4.65% right now, it is a $5/mo charge though to have Gold, but not a big deal if you have a big balance sitting there

I am not familiar with CIT...thats a really high yield.

I see they are FDIC backed, so is there any more risk than AMEX or Capital One.

Would you rather not be told where higher yields can be found?

what is the benefit to these vs Vanguard’s Cash Savings? Why doesn’t everyone do that, am I missing something? 4.5%

If you’ve got $100K in a savings, the difference between 4.85% and 4.5% would be an additional $350 accrued over the course of the year. All things being equal, that’s a grocery trip.

I’ve got mine in Citi. I applied to open an account on CIT and got rejected for some reason. Hopefully Citi raises its rates soon too.
