If you've got a brokerage account with Fidelity their cash money market SPAXX, (where your uninvested cash is parked), 7 day yield is 4.73.

CIT is a wing of First Citizens Bank, so no there is no more/less risk than capital one or AMEX.

PNC high yield savings went from 4.0% to 4.5% about 3 weeks ago.
