Zion was the biggest story in college athletics last year.

He's the most hyped rookie to enter the NBA since Lebron.

So I have no idea who Zion is.

Come on.

Bunchie i've got a buddy who didn't know who Lebron was, and this was a good 8 years into his career. It can happen.

This place was convinced The Rock was going to be guest picker last year or couple years ago.

So you don't know that one of the best LSU players in the past 20 years isn't on your hometown team?

This is a gigantic load of shite, man. The media spun it that way. They cleared that up very quickly.

The fact that Zion hasn't played one single game for the Pelicans, showed visible disappointment when New Orleans got the #1 pick, and has zero ties to LSU, doesn't exactly seem exciting, especially for those of us who give zero fricks about the NBA.

So I see you don't know much about Zion since he's actually moved to Louisiana

Here is how I hope it goes down:

Zion is guest speaker and he is introduced and stuff then all of a sudden before they make the 1st picks, Shaq makes a WWE style entrance and is a second guest speaker for the segment.

Interwebs would be broken for sure!

I just talked to a friend of mine who’s ‘in the know’ and he told me that the guest picker will be Jon Goodman.

I personally thought that Dennis Quaid (who I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere) would have been an excellent choice since he basically played a version of Billy Cannon 30 years ago, but of course Goodman was in the movie too, and has been a La resident for years.. solid choice IMO.

So a guy who played football at Missouri State and lives in NOLA is okay with you guys but not a guy who played at Duke and lives in NOLA?

Muh Zion

Now recruits won’t come to LSU because Zion wasn’t on TV for 5 minutes

I actually thought Zion was a great choice, but i was just gloating a little since i had a buddy tell me earlier this week it was a done deal with Goodman so i posted it here.
